We take this opportunity to introduce ourselves as a part of the worldwide, International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) movement, which is a non profit, social welfare & spiritualorganization engaged in propagating the teachings & values of the great ancient literatures of our Vedic heritage.

We are a Charitable Trust dedicated to promoting individual and global peace, harmony and prosperity by spreading the message of divine love and fraternity given in the Vedic texts of ancient India. Our Trust was originally started in 1966. Since then the trust has brought spiritual joy, integrity and dignity to the lives of millions of people worldwide through it’s over 600 branches.

Some of the services offered by the center to society are:

1. Peace, joy and rejuvenation through its vibrant spiritual atmosphere for around 1000 daily visitors.

2. Memorable cultural and spiritual experiences to average 3000 people through the periodic festivals like Ramanavmi and to over 50,000 people during the annual mega-festival of Janmashtami.

3. Training in character buildup, personality development, public speaking, team-playing and principle-centered leadership to over 10,000 youths in Pune as well as in leading institutes like IITs and NITs.

4. Training in value education and devotional culture through games, skits, music, painting, story-telling and shloka memorization to over 1000 children

5. Stress-management, time management and similar seminars and workshops for corporate professionals in leading companies like Zensar Technologies, Finolex, Tech Mahindra and many more.

In order to offer better services to society, we needed a larger place and so 5 acres of land for a New Vedic Cultural Center (NVCC) was acquired at Katraj-Kondhwa bypass,Pune and the construction is already started, the NVCC will become a spiritual, architectural and educational, landmark in Pune.Spiritually, the center will have meditation and prayer halls and will be centered on beautiful deities.Architecturally, the center will have a magnificent temple that will be reflected in a serene lake surrounded by lush gardens. Educationally, the center will also have state-of-the-art facilities including spacious lecture halls, well-equipped seminar halls, a multimedia theater and an auditorium. These extensive facilities will make it the hub for spreading the divine love and light throughout Pune, India and beyond. The center will also have a Govinda’s restaurant and a grand guest house. The project cost is expected to be around 35 crores.

In these humble attempts to serve God and humanity, we depend on noble-hearted people and organizations for their generous contribution towards this venture. The contributions made towards this glorious cause will help bring spiritual light and love in the hearts and lives of thousands of people.
