The Gospel Of Mary Magdalene

Being exceptionally receptive to the esoteric contact of Christ, Mary Magdalene was one of the closest associates of Jesus. But her astounding gospel, written after the Crucifixion, faced intriguing suppression by prejudicial mindset. That’s until it was rediscoverd in Cairo by German scholar Reinhardt in 1896. This stunning gospel offers a hidden key to unlocking the secret of the soul with glorious illumination and fulfilment at the deepest level.

Higher Vision
Mary had a faculty of higher spiritual vision and perception which was repeatedly criticised and questioned by the followers of Jesus. On every occasion, Jesus invariably confirmed her stand holding her in high esteem. No wonder that her wonderful gospel would remain hidden and her role confined to some episodes and paintings as the graceful lady kneeling at the cross. Let us drink the divine nectar of the gospel to taste its radiant clarity, amazing grace and mystic beauty.

Unlike Moses, Jesus did not prescribe any moral code as it is a poor substitute for Divine love from which self-discipline flows. The eye of the vision is within the silence of the soul. So, he advised us to return to our true nature, our spiritual source and open our heart to indiscriminating love, which is a self-sustainer of its own balance and breath of life. He said, “Do not impose any rules and take care not to lay down laws like a lawgiver, lest you be ensnared in its constraints and lose your freedom.”

Delve Within
The gospel says, all matter is composed of elements. Our attachment to this structure has no permanence. Attachment to corrupt nature binds us to matter, illusion and suffering. But all that is composed in earth and heaven, material or mental shall be decomposed and return to origin, the principle that sent them forth. The physical body creates powerful passions due to attraction of opposites which pulls us apart and creates disharmony. We should overcome the same by remaining in oneness in beauty and harmony with divine nature.

When asked, Jesus clarified, “Sin has no real existence; it is you who create it when you are unfaithful to your true nature and act within the habits of corrupt nature.” What we need is freedom from the fetters of the flesh. Jesus came to restore every soul to its source by asserting harmony with our divine nature: “My truth is within your own heart where the son of God dwells. I live within all. Go within, those who seek Him will find Him.”

When we become fully human, we become one whole body of light, one breath which conjoins life-death-life at the midpoint, which is the heart, says the gospel. We become all aspects of life, one being, and one whole. Our physical structure decomposes, but we can overcome this process by dissociating soul from matter. Once the two are felt to be apart, the ascent begins. The breath sustains the soul and gives it life and it is this breath which detaches us from matter created by our own attachment to flesh. When we overcome the same, everything is decomposed.

Oneness Of Existence
Mary’s astounding gospel speaks about oneness of existence and nature of matter owing its existence to soul, sparkling at midpoint in body in breath or life-force, which connects body with soul. It talks about the four-fold ascension of soul through aspiration, harmony, love and identification of soul apart from the body.

Even veteran followers of Jesus could not believe what Mary learnt from Christ. Since Jesus held Mary in high esteem, they could not question her integrity. They separated to preach as commanded. The time has come to spread the gospel of Mary in letter and spirit.
